Scotiabank asked Learning Designs Online to help in the strategic planning phase of the bank’s first enterprise-wide elearning initiative. Scotiabank selected Learning Designs primarily because of our skills in evaluating elearning technology (e.g., Learning Management Systems).

The Learning Designs team met with key corporate stakeholders to learn about the current situation and the future vision of online learning from various perspectives within the organization (HR, training, and banking operations, etc.).

These high-level discussions, combined with a study of the bank’s current learning and data-related environments, led to the creation of a strategic vision document. This document serves as the corporate elearning blueprint providing expert strategies and tactics relating to: change management issues, LMS procurement processes, network technology evolution, database architecture design and interface design.
