In 1999 Manulife Financial approached Learning Designs Online to help the organization explore ways to streamline and enhance the corporations training processes. Manulife also requested that we team with their learning professionals to investigate the potential value of enterprise eLearning to the corporation.
The result was a extraordinary success. The strengths of Manulifeís training and IT professionals combined with the deep eLearning expertise of the LDO team resulted in a number of significant achievements including development of a business plan, an internal marketing plan (for executive buy-in).
Once the business plan was approved and budgets allocated, the joint Manulife-LDO team created an LMS (Learning Management System) selection strategy and worked together to chose the vendor and technology that most closely met the organizationís needs.
