A leading U.S. automotive training firm turned to us for online design expertise to convert their QS9000 training (the auto industry equivalent of ISO9000) from instructor-led (ILT) to a blended eLearning solution.

A significant project challenge was to meet rigorous design requirements of the big three automotive corporations: GM, Ford, and Chrysler. (Our client’s training material is the only courseware mandated by the big three for QS9000 compliance training.

Our solution was an online training application that introduced new learning models to the online format. The design seamlessly integrated self-paced web learning, interactive role play, asynchronous discussion groups, and web-based videoconferencing.

The program was successfully showcased at the automotive industry’s annual convention in Detroit, Michigan. It convincingly demonstrated to thousands of conference visitors that eLearning could add excitement as well as costs-savings and flexibility to the automotive industry’s crucial quality assurance training program.
